Northeast Brine Shrimp is actively soliciting for metropolitan area distributors. The candidates can be non established first time businesses/persons or established wholesale to trade businesses. In the case of first time in business persons or persons with sales experience in any other field, you may apply. This distributor relationship is at first considered a part time opportunity usually requiring one day per week. That one day could conceivably be Saturdays. The potential gross net income/profit (the difference between what you pay and what you sell for) for one day can be as much as $1,000 and more. Success is up to the individuals talent and understanding of the aquarium trade along with being able to sell.
A candidate metropolitan area is one that is known to have at least 25 pet shops. All states are included in this search. The buying power of one normal pet shop for our products is known to be two to four boxes of live foods for aquarium fish each week. There is suggested a $15 to $20 gross profit available for each box of product. For example, if a distributor was selling the normal two to four boxes per week to 10 stores the gross net profit would be in the range of $400 per delivery day for the two boxes per week per store level.

This business opportunity is primarily based on the deferential of landed/delivered costs using DHL or UPS next day service in comparison to general air freight costs and small distributor area handling. General air freight in the USA is, per 100 pound weight, considerably less then next day DHL or UPS delivery. Our product would be shipped to our distributors/independent contractors via general air freight out of Orlando, Florida and sent to the nearest major airport for distributor pick up. The distributor then simply spends a few hours dropping off the aquarium products to the dealers. There is no need for the distributor to own a commercial live holding system. Simply generate orders from your customers and deliver them on lets say Saturday which means NEBS will ship them out of Orlando on Friday evening.
The winning candidates for each metropolitan area is his or her own business and it is not implied that the candidate is an employee of Northeast Brine Shrimp. NEBS will offer to each candidate an agreement to honor the territory for which the distributors carves out for themselves to service. No other candidate will be offered your territory unless you become non active. It is expected that the candidate abides by all local and state laws governing small business activities for the area in which you live and operate. It is also expected that the winning candidates have a professional understanding of the importance of sales presentation and appearances. Think success and you will succeed.
